Last Friday was a great day for music here in Nashville. Umphrey's Mcgee played at the WAR Memorial w/guests Jeff Coffin and Futureman joining in. The City Champs and North Mississippi Allstars played at the Cannery. I was at WAR, but stopped by and hung out with Luther for a moment earlier in the day. Here is a photo from on board the NMAS bus.

Went and shot a punk show Friday night at The End. It was So Jazzy, Jeff the Brotherhood, Marj and Meemaw. Pretty wild crowd, and fun energy. This is a shot of Jeff the Brotherhood. The guitar player just dove off the front of the stage.

More Jamcruise. This time I am posting some of the wild people you meet along the way. The Flint Tropics get down. I mean their coach rallied them together for some lay-up drills straight from the bar. Lay-ups and cocktails, JAMCRUISE rules-

Here is a cool long exposure from the STS9 pool deck show. There is no where more inviting than the pool deck at 2 or 3 in the morning with such spiritually cleansing breezes and phenomenal tunes!

Almost let the week get away from me. Christmas Jam was a blast as usual. Asheville still remains one of my favorite towns in America. Here is Jackie Greene and Jimmy Herring rocking with Gov't Mule at the Jam.

This week I head out for Christmas Jam in Asheville. Should be a great weekend. I get to hang out with lots of friends like Velvet Truckstop, Backyard Tire Fire, Geoff, Jay, Dino, Alison and so many others. Plus a ton of great music. Anyway this weeks post is from Willie Nelson at the Ryman. It was an iconic night of Ryman activity w/ a who's who of "Nashville Cats" as Willie's band.
