Well in honor of this coming weekend's encounter with the Lips, here is Wayne from a few years back at the ROO. Flaming Lips, Vanderbilt Rites of Spring Saturday, BE THERE!!!!
Well I had a great shoot this morning with Mike Farris. Mike grew up not far from me, and had a great band called the Screamin Cheetah Wheelies. He has a new album coming out in less than two weeks called Shout! Live with his new project Mike Farris and the Roseland Review. So be on the lookout for it. Also keep your eyes peeled to www.honesttune.com for a feature story on Mike with editor Fred Adams.
You know this is usually a vehicle for my music imagery, and I threw something different out there the past few days. I have been strugglin to get some editing done today, and finally made it thru a few. This is a shot from the Travelin McCoury and Lee Boys project. Look for more pics and a review of the Nashville Exit In show at www.honesttune.com
There is group of fraternity kids somewhere showing pride in the party. SAE's at the University of the South wearing skirts and acting tough in the name of nothing more than parents weekend. So raise a glass of warm natural light to youthful ignorance!
Bobby Lee Rodgers sitting in with Old Union at Nashville's Mercy Lounge. One of my favorite artists sitting in with some more of my favorites! What a love fest-
Here is another freebie. This is of my friends Oakhurst from Denver. I have posted a portrait of them on here before. And went out to CO to work with them back in Feb. I guess there have been some line up changes since then so these images may not be used. So I thought I would share one here.
Here is a little something extra for this week (since I have missed a few lately). Here we have the Avett Brothers from one of my favorite festivals from 2008, the Mulberry Mountain Harvest Festival.
Brad Hodge Photography is about capturing essence. The magical moment when music unfolds into memories, a sun setting over a field of thousands or that moment of solitude when the world seems fair and just. When it happens we will be there, quietly without disrupting nature's flow to capture and share with the rest of the world.
Aside from the daily quest to capture moments of bliss, we also do band promotional portraits, album packaging, editorial assignments and much more.
