Photo of the Week 06/01/09

I can't even begin to come up with a colorful enough story to cover my ass on this one. My apologies to all those who miss me when I disappear. I have tons of fun stuff coming up to shoot and post, so I promise I wont do you wrong any longer. Be on the look out for Wakarusa images with Gov't Mule, The Black Crowes, Sts9, Jimmy Herring Band, YMSB, Railroad Earth, Porter Batiste Stoltz and much more. Also Bonnaroo and maybe even some Phish and Eddie Vedder. For now here is a shot from Wilco at Birmingham's Sloss Furnace. This was great show, and a cool venue.

Photo of the Week 04/20/09 Freebie

It has been a fun week. I will be posting some shots from Wilco Wed. but couldn't help myself from skipping to tonight's action. This is my favorite part of the DMB, the horns. Jeff Coffin was always my favorite part of the Flecktones, and now he is holding court in yet another wicked pissa project. "Burnin Down the House" was big fun, and "Watchtower" too.

Photo of the Week 04/20/09

What a great weekend. Tons of free music all over town. Avett Brothers at Grimey's to start Saturday, The dynamites and Susan Tedeschi at the park. However my favorite part was Saturday night at Rites of Spring. Which kicked off for me with Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears, then Grand Ole Party, N.E.R.D. and the cherry on top The Flaming Lips. This photo is from the end of the night, and provided by the creative minds of the Lips.
